Jessy was our neighborhood dog who appeared out of nowhere and stole our hearts. Despite our care, she got lost one day and we found she had been hit by a car and passed away instantly.

This became the reason for creating the app and its name, so other pets don't share the same fate and Jessy's life can save many others.

What is the purpose of the Jessy app?

Jessie is a mobile app where the community comes together to help each other find, locate, or give away pets — dogs, cats, birds, and more.

Is the app only for dogs?

No, the app is made for dogs, cats, birds, and different kinds of pets.

How does the map work?

The map is one of the main features. It lets you see lost, found, or pets available for adoption around you or in any area where people use the app. When you tap on a marker, you can view the full post with all details.

How do I receive notifications?

Notifications are another key feature. You get two types of alerts (you can control them in your profile). When a pet is lost near you so you can help, and when someone responds to the lost-pet post you created.

How do I contact the listing author?

Open the post and tap the “Contact” button at the bottom. This will start a phone call through your device.

Is the app free to use?

Yes, the app is completely free for all users.

When will the app be released?

The app will launch in March 2026.
